Hotel Stein Colonial - Cali

The stay was good, especially with easy access to local attractions like the charming Plazoleta Jairo Varela and the vibrant Modern Art Museum La Tertulia, both just a quick walk away. I appreciated the distinct colonial decor. The outdoor pool area was a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring. It was a nice experience that I would definitely consider for future visits.

Enjoyed our 4 days in this hotel, no reason to complain. The units are airy and extremely spacious with ac. The location is marvellous and amazing, 3 km from Safa and Marwa Hill.

Unfortunately, the mattress in my room was firmer than I prefer, which affected my sleep quality .

We stayed in Hotel Stein for a couple of nights in January 2012 during a 5 week roundtrip through Colombia. We thought it fell short of the raving critics it gets in traveling guides and on internet sites. This said, please note: If you are a first time visitor to Colombia keep in mind that as a general rule hotels in Colombia tend to be ridiciously overprized with regard to the services and comfort they offer. Wondering why this is the case we never got an satisfactory answer, not even from Colombians. The location of Hotel Stein is good, its antiques charming, though in need of refurbishing. It is a clean place with regular service.

- Breakfast is underwhelming. No fruits, bad and cheap juice. Coffee is equally bad. - No ac in our room. - Room was dark und got little light from the outside.

really great experience there. clean old-fashioned hotel with incredibly nice and exceptional staff. great and wonderful location for visiting a zoo and restaurants.

I loved how easy it was to explore the nearby hotspots, like the beautiful Plazoleta Jairo Varela just a short walk away and the captivating Modern Art Museum La Tertulia within strolling distance, allowing me to soak in the vibrant culture and scenery of the city .

Unique colonial decor was like a charming museum.

The mattress is firm!!! All doors require a hard slam to close properly. Tax handling should be clearer for tourists!!!

I came here for 1 night and had a delightful stay. The hotel was big with a marvellous location right by Margarita island, the shopping center Centenario Plaza, and the Stein Colonial. Thanks to the very-very nice staff everything was really good.

i was given a double room with a safe, cable channels and a work desk. the breakfast was incredibly nice, plenty of excellent food.

The staff was friendly and helpful. With quick room service and a nice pool area to relax. Breakfast was simple but fresh. Perfect way to start the day.

Charming ambiance, convenient location, with a lovely outdoor pool area to relax and a comfortable room that allowed for a great night's sleep, all just a short drive from Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport.
